“Your Actions Can Effect Your Career.”

Scottsdale, AZ – You only need to look at the current difficulties of Lindsay Lohan to arrive at the understanding that you can easily damage your reputation. Case in point? The upcoming film “Inferno” depicting the life of Linda Lovelace (Linda Boreman) who died in in 2002 as a result of injuries sustained from an auto accident. Lohan’s personal exploits off the set forced the director, producers, and backers ( and it is always about money) to drop her from the film and replace her with Malin Ackerman.

The bottom line is no matter who you are or what your previous accolades have been, no one is indispensable. In addition, with the instant response of the web, social media, and smart phones with photo and video capabilities anything and everything you do is “open season.” So, it’s important to consider how your actions and behavior can affect your career. We’ve all seen the effects of being “Youtube’d” and how a simple thoughtless, and often embarrassing act can go viral overnight.

If you are seriously interested in a career that is public, do your best to keep your private life “private”. We live in an age of Big Brother. There are eyes everywhere and the walls have ears... The best protection for your reputation is not to be frivolous with it in the first place.
